Competitive Mode

I did a search but couldn't find this specific subject discussed. Is the competitive mode only available on the manual, or also the automatic? Every article I've read talks about the competitive mode, no lift shifting and LSD on the manual version of the HHR SS, so I'm wondering if it is included on the automatic.

I think its only on the stick because the competitive mode allows the no lift shift which means that when you shift your car at redline and keep your foot on the gas the car wont bounce off the redline it will hold the rpm's at 6100.

Okay - so the competitive mode is only related to the shifting of the manual? I know cars like the G8 have a competition mode on the auto which plays around with the shift points.

I mean the competitive mode might play around with the shift points on the automatic, it has to do something if the feature is available in the automatic. It has to be there for a reason. Im not too sure. I did a lot of research before i bought my SS and i didnt find anything about the automatic i asked the dealer and they didnt know anything either. Mine is stick tough but i love forums for the reason that there is always someone out there that will have the answear

I would think the Auto has comp mode as well. Pretty sure they get a launch control as well.
