Courthousedeb or somebody help me..running board problem...

I don't want to do anything or break anything that I don't have to have the torx screws are out of the bracket and the front and rear bolt undone, but running board is still there, seems like there is some type of "block" clip that keeps it from coming out, anyone have thoughts on this? picking up my ground effect in the AM, would like to give them the running board at the same time.... the dealer is to far for me to leave the SS during the week and their paint shop is closed on Saturday, so that is why I am doing it myself, for those who were going to ask me

Have you tried looking at this thread? One of the female members on the forum installed her own running boards. Maybe looking at her pics will help.

yes, did look at that thread, but still was stumped
finally thought of my door panel removal tool, which was needed to release the clips already into the bottom of the body, all it took was one time and the panel came right off. new ground effect is on, does look different on the left side, like a real SS thanks for your response, once again

No problem...always happy to help when I can. Glad to hear you've got matching sides on your SS.
