Don't be a dumb A$$

Next time this happens try this. If you have another battery just jumper it to the posts in the engine compartment or even hooking a battery charger to those post should give enough power to open the rear hatch. Thought of that in my sleep last night so I guess I'm not waisting all my time.

I am putting my Pioneer AVIC D3 in myself. I am tired of getting half ass work from my local car stereo kids.
There is a great place to mount XM radios and bluetooth adapters on the left bottom of the front dash. Pictures will be provided in the near future

Guess which one my car dealer outsourced the remote starter to? Hmm, which type of successful car stereo shop would NOT want to be taking low ball contract work...
So the burnout/gangbanger store does the outsourcing for most of the car dealers in the area. I have brought my car in ( Not the HHR ) to be repaired again since the install was not done properly.
Now at the other place where they have five people and more than a clue card, no problems with a huge complicated sound system integrating OEM and aftermarket flawlessly. Plus custom building consoles and mounts. The right auto sound store can be a blessing. The low end ones are a curse. I can understand the DIY approach, oh and really stay away from Best Buy installs. Too much turn over in the workforce. Newbies every week...
Good luck with your install. Please post pics!
