Engine power reduced issue AGAIN and loose ecu
I just got the car back from the reduced engine power issue and wouldnt you know it the problem occured again last night. i was 1.5 hours from home and when i tried to start the car it shook like crazy and said engine power reduced and died. it would not start again so i popped the hood to pull the ecu fuses to reset it. well i noticed the hack job the dealership did on my ecu wiring and that one of my ecu harness plugs was half broke. i also noticed that the ecu sits loose in the holder. i can take my hand and move it back and forth quite a bit, is that quality gm engineering or is that something that the dealership did when they "fixed" it?
I re-seated the ecu and the car still would not start. i pulled the fuse, waited about 2 minutes then stuck it back in and then the car started right up
got to love gm, no wonder they are going bankrupt.

The problem is probably more w/ the fuse block and loose wire(s) there. Sounds like your pulling and resetting the fuse jostled enough to correct the problem, at least for now.
