I just purchased Silver 2010 w/2.4 and 26K miles. It has been in the dealership service center more then my wife's garage. ESC errors, the brake lights come on and stay on when they want to and sluggish during take off. Dealership has been nice and trying. 3 Brake switches and a Mass Air Flow Sensor, still the brake lights come on without touching the brakes and it is a dog. It is back in the shop again. Anyone have these problems?

Abs ????

 

I asked about the abs, they said; no problems there.

 

I am assuming that it lacks power....."dog", "sluggish"....when the ESC light illuminates. At other times it is o'k?

So is it going into limp mode?

Had ANY work been done on the car prior to the problem? Tire changes, new wheels, steering alignment, etc.?

Lastly of course, has any codes been read.....and what were/are they?

 

Thanks, snoopy. lacked pwr without ESC, worse with on.

Just got the car back today. Tech found ESC Light intermittently coming on DLC, Checked all circuits for power and ground, tested ok, found random communication code, vehicle needs new BCM .3diag. Corrected by N4800:Body Control Module replacement.
Wow! Now lets see if we make a week.
