how strong is it? I mean if the plate is up, is it going to be vibrating hard against the paint on the bumper?

How are you mounted it on your HHR? What about infront of the IC, behind the mesh grill?

No You adjust it so it will not contact anything. I have about a 1/2 inch clearance and it does not hit anything.

The president of my company has one on his Z06 and it has a close fit with no hitting.

The bottom line is this is a good plate bracket as I have found. It is also one of few that will fit cars with a low nose. There are few options.

The flip down street rod plate plate as nice as they are is not a real option on anything that sits low.

Up or down you can not feel any differance on a stock engine in daily driving. I would have to get out and walk around to the front to look to see if it was up or down as you can not tell by driving it.

My Fiero with the plate in the air intake it has no effect when driving with the plate down on it. Even on the hottest day the temp gauge is right on the same mark.

At the track on Saturday you might see a small change but would your really have your plate up at the track anyway?

Once I get the scan meter I can give you the temp differance then. That is a large opening and I am sure power loss in minor.

Besides a IC is useless when your pulled over with Buford T Justice writing you one up.

The whole point is to make it legal when you need it and to get it out of the way when you don't 90% of the time.

^^ exactly

Whats your opinion...inside infront of the IC or hanging down below the bumper? Can you get me the $150 deal?

The close out on the nose keeps you from mounting the plate behind the mesh.

I have mine below the bumper and it just comes out and flips up on springs. Easy to reach and easy to move.

Besides The law hates the plate behind anything.

The bottom line on location is this bracket is not in the best looking place but it works when you need it and is in about the only location you can have where it will go away without making major changes to the nose.

If you want the non electric it is like $49.

The Electric one I just ordered is part# ARP-400EU $139.39 . Summit will add a $11.75 handling and since you in Ohio you get to pay tax. If you get by Akron you can save the 11.75 in the retail store.

Sorry I am in the office but not in sales so I can't make any deals.

I am not sure what the other places will charge since this is just coming out but I expect it will be similar priced as the non electric is at all of them.

Now you see it!

Now you don't

I wish it was up a little higher when it is displayed but I run 95% of the time with it down.

Thanks for the offer but I will pass on this one since we do sell this one where I work. Dave will not be able to meet my employee price.
