Has anyone had any luck finding struts for the SS? I have checked everywhere, even the local Chevy dealer is telling me that no part exists for me to order through them. The only possibility I have found so far is a complete kit by FCS. I am cautious to pull the trigger on a brand I know nothing about.

I ordered the AC Delco Fe5's from Rock Auto. The first one just showed up today actually. The other side is due tomorrow

I checked Rock Auto today and they only had the left side in stock. Crate Engine Depot has a kit that includes both front struts (fe5) and both rear shocks. These are the OEMs. I might go with that. Thanks...


Rock Auto is the place I found the FCS spring/mount/strut assembly also, but it didn't specify fe5

No problem at all. Im sure they will get some back in soon I must have ordered the last one. I did remember it said Low Stock.

I got new bushings, Nuts and top mounts as well

why not buy the bundle with the yyz springs attached :) might as well lower it and get better handling/ride at the same time
unless its a bit out of your price range at the moment

Hey man I looked at rock auto and the only combo I see for strut assembly is for FCS and Unity. Do I need to say my SS is a 2.4 Lt and get those assemblies, SS is the same as the LT right?

maybe just suspension?? they might have them, i did not check before I sent this

Didn't mean while car. I never recognized the FE3 to FE5 before. Thought the suspension was the same.
