full size spare?

I have been wondering can a full size spare fit in the spare tire compartment?

still want to know

I want to know as well...I like full service spare tires. I have a 2007 LT2 (17 inch polished alloy wheels, 215/50 R17 tires).

You may be able to fit a full size diameter tire in but not a stock SS tire and wheel as I am affraid it is just too wide.

Many new cars will not accept the stock size tire since they are just so big anymore.

I was wondering where the Camaro SS will put one of it's rear tires as I don't think it will fit in the trunk. Even my Fiero will not fit the stock tire in the storage are up front and it has to go in the rear trunk.

Odds are it's a can of fix-a-flat. Spares are getting optional these days.

Nope... Mine came with the 16'' steel wheels and won't fit where the spare is supposed to go

Darn!

If your 16 won't fit, then my 17 certainly won't, either!
