OMGoodness!! She has some power!

I will post some pics tomorrow. It was too dark to take them by the time I got home. I drove an automatic ss a year back and was a little underwhelmed at the power, but the stick is where it's at!

It is 2009 with 233 miles on it, well 333 now! It's IBM in color, with a 5 speed, Pioneer sound, smiling driver, Brembo brake package, performance seat, smiling driver, sunroof, smiling driver, and black and gray interior.

The stage kit did come up a few times in negotiations but I left with out it. It will be the first mod along with the pax armrest I think.

I have one quick question though, How about 5th gear? It seems a little hard to find, almost like I have got to force it in there. The other gears feel snug and just right. Is this normal?

Thanks guy's

I was having a lot of trouble with 5th gear also...led me to one of my first mods. TWM short shifter cured that problem fast!!

Congrats on the new SS and welcome to the club! I love my SS 5spd also and can't wait to take her out of storage. It's only been a month and I'm Jones'in already!

Yes, the 5th gear was a little stiff and smoothed out over time in mine also. I have heard a lot of others mention theirs was very bad. It can be adjusted if you can convince the dealer it needs to be done. There are two seperate throw adjustments on the cables under the shifter console that may need to be tweeked.

Good luck with the new ride, and HAVE FUN!!

When i put my b&m shifter in , I played with the positions of the cables, It's easy to adjust , If you mark your starting point on the cables, it's a breeze.

What he said. Once I got it adjusted right (in my case the fantastic TWM short shifter) it has shifted great, now approaching 40,000 trouble free and modified miles.

Okay, I have tried 4 times to re-size these pictures to the right size for the forum. Sorry

BTW,
Thanks for the input on the shifter. A short throw may be in my future I think.
