HHR SS rev limiter

Just wondering why the HHR SS automatic cant rev past 4k RPMs when your at a stop.?

To keep it from blowing up. All HHRs have a limiter, it's in the programming.

No, all computer controlled cars have limits.
The programmers must have been listening to their grandfathers when they told them revving the engine was bad for it.

Does wonders for being a 131 cubic 2.0L engine. Chevrolet knew to put a limiter on it, got to make it last. Very smart, I wouldn't want to be taking it in for engine issues all the time.

One Litre = 61 cubic inches

Remember the 61 inch Harleys? That's how I convert Litres to C.I.
