I'm with you brother; same number of steps with or without a second jack.

One Jack Method:
1) Jack up rear
2) Replace rear tire with spare
3) Let rear of car down
4) Jack up front
5) Replace front tire with rear tire
6) Let front of car down

Two Jack Method:
1) Jack up rear
2) Jack up front
3) Replace rear tire with spare
4) Replace front tire with rear tire
5) Let down rear of car
6) Let down front of car

I carry a small air compressor, plugs into any power outlet, & plug kit.

I have SS front rotors on mine.

Thought was with 2 jacks one can get both wheels off the ground at the same time. Again, just a thought.

It would. If you have a second lug wrench and a second pit crew member.
If it's just you alone, well, you can only work on one corner at a time.

I found out about the clearance issue the hard way- the VERY FIRST DAY I owned my Cobalt SS Turbo. Drove from my dealership, picked up a nail in a restaurant parking lot in my right front tire. Came out from dinner to find my tire pressure light on. 95 degrees out and I'm sweating my ass off while I do 2 tire changes. PITA!

Guys this is good to know. I never would have thought that the spare wouldn't fit on the front. Thanks.
