The "moulded" HHR splash guards will not fit. The universal fit splash guards do. However, since the HHR SS is a bit lower, I find the rear splash guards scrape often (you know, steep angled parking lot entrances and storm angled gutters). Maybe it was me telling the service tech to mount them as low as possible to get maximum protection, dunno'. I am taking it slow, hoping that eventually they will wear off an 1/8th inch or so. They make a BIG difference on keeping the snow, slush and salt off the side effects.

I bought the generic "contured" GM splash guards for my 2LT and then decided to get the moulded ones instead. Since I bought the "contured" ones off the web it would cost about the same to ship them back as I paid for them since I opened one set to see how they'd fit so I can't return those (never installed).

So, long story short, if you would like four splash guards, I'll sell them to you for $15, roughly the cost of UPS shipping (I paid about $26 + shipping for them originally). If you're interested, e-mail me at dfranklin@ussok.com - I'd rather seem them get used than sit around my garage.

Here's the part I'm talking about: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=12497400

I don't think that the splash guards are needed on the SS. I've got almost 1300 miles on mine and I haven't experienced any snow or slush on the car.

So does anybody know the answer??
Evidently because of the different fascias on the SS, the standard GM accessory Splash Guards will not work on the SS......When are they going to have SS SApecific splash guards??

I now know the answer.......I got my new HHR SS last week and while at a GTG last weekend and looking at the HHR's that were there with Splash guards on them.......I decided to try and put the molded GM Splash guards on the car.......All the holes are in the right places but because on the different fascias some trimming is involved you just have to be careful......but they will fit!!

Nice installation tomw-

Do you have the GM p/n for those or are they the ones ( http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=12497400 ) that Davidf wrote about earlier?

I just used some Wal-Mart ones on my SS and work just fine, did a little cutting on them and no problems.
