I think GM says it's 155....

Wow. Thats what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. I'm going to call my Dad right now and let him know.

Funny thing is, he went to the Chevrolet dealership to buy a Vette and came home with an SS insted.LOL....

You know... I have heard a variety of specs on that, depending on the source. I think that GM boasted of 156 mph, but I believe it was Car-Driver that posted it as 147. Either way, it is pretty damn fast!

That's very cool. Saved himself about 40-50K and got a great car that gets way better gas mileage.

Actually he saved about 20 to 25 thousand and the HHR only gets a little better gas mileage than the Corvette. Maybe 2 miles to the gallon better.

He'll have just as much fun with the SS, plus: better mileage, versatility, easier to get in and out of, etc. etc. etc...............
