Hi From Arizona

Been reading the forums since Thanksgiving as a Guest, So as my Christmas gift I am joining as new member & making my plans to place my order for a HHR-SS Victory Red. So I will probably ask a few questions about what options to order. Victory Red is my favorite choice. Here is a list of my Chevy experiences
Chevys I have Owned in timeframe of ownership, not in order of model year

1949 Chevy 2dr Fleetline 6cyl 3spd
1957 Chevy BelAir Convertible 283 automatic
1962 Chevy Impala SS Convertible 327 3spd
1940 Chevy 4dr Sedan with suicide doors!
1956 Chevy Wagon not a Nomad!
1965 Chevy Impala SS Convertible 327 Automatic
1968 Chevy Camaro SS/RS 396 4spd with Black vinyl hardtop
1972 Chevy Corvette Convert with removable Vinyl HardTop 350 4 spd
1969 Chevy El Camino 6cyl 3spd
1974 Chevy Corvette Convert with removable vinyl HardTop 350 4 spd
1963 Chevy Impala SS Convert 327 automatic
1975 Chevy El Camino 350 Automatic
1967 Chevy Impala Custom 327 Automatic
1979 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport 350 4 spd
1968 Chevy Camaro SS 350 4 spd (My 2nd 1968 Camaro)
1984 Chevy S-10 Blazer
1986 Chevy S-10 Blazer with Tahoe package & big 6 cyl
1973 Chevy Corvette T-top 350 Automatic (Currently still own)
1986 Chevy SuBurBan
1992 Chevy Camaro RS 25th Aniversary Edition (Currently still own)
1998 GMC SuBurBan (Currently still own)
2001 Chevy TrailBlazer (Selling to my Brother-In_Law)

I guess it is time to retire the Gas Guzzling SuBurban (10-12 mpg) for special trips & towing occasions.

The '68 Camaro SS 396 & the '72 Corvette Convert were my favorites. Ordered the Camaro special from the factory via the local dealer. Ordered the Corvette when I graduated from college, was single & making big money. So a special order for a HHR-SS seems like the thing to do now.

Welcome.

There are not that many options available on the SS, I also hope to be getting a Victory Red one. I will have to dig up my Vette pictures, I think it was a 73 T-top also.

What year is the pic of your avatar "an08HHR" ? My 1940 Chevy 4dr Sedan looked similar in the front end. I wish I knew were all my old pics were?
