I knew by getting an event history from the dealer that my SS went to
code 3800=produced on Jan 4, 2008 but from then it goes on a train
and is pretty much lost fro sight UNLESS you ask your dealer to call
the "dealer business center" and get "rail tracking number" for your
order by giving them the 6 digit order number. You will get a 10 digit id
number and then go to this site:
http://c01.my.uprr.com/pet/motorVehicleTrace.jsp

It shows my car was in Ohio this morning and DBC confirmed it was
unloaded in New Boston rail center today and will at dealer here in
SE Mich on Mon/Tues.

Very cool! I'm guessing that the TTX.... number is the actual freight car (auto rack) number.

 

 

When did you place your order at the dealership? Just wondering cause I placed mine on Saturday and we're both around the same general area of the country. I just can't wait for it to get here lol.

 

Ordered mine at earliest date I could in mid Nov and builds did not start till
mid Dec. I would expect 6 weeks from order, possibly less. Took about 2
weeks by train to my dealer. Showed up today. Picking up this afternoon.
Drove around lot before they started the prep work. Suprised by light
feeling of clutch- had as hard to depress as I expected.
