The drone isn't that bad... if the radio is on. really its not that bad. When you get the cat-less DP be sure to quickly re-tune or buy a code reaader/clearer. the O2 will read way too much, another clue the motor overcompensates and you will notice a slight 5-10 degrees rise in engine temp for that ignition cycle, on your next cycle you will have a check-engine with P2096 post-catlyast something or another showing one to two times on a scanner. depending on how you drive you could see a code everyday or none for a few weeks.

Just to let you know what your getting into before putting on a DP, even the ones that come with a de-fouler welded in will still throw a code once in a while. FYI

Changing downpipes will not affect your coolant temperature.

sorry not your coolant, was tired when posting. I meant the outgoing gas that the O2 senses, its temps are slightly higher.

The oxygen sensor doesn't read temperature either.

No panel, it doesn't but I do, and when I don't have something I want to monitor, I go out and get it. Like a hand-held temp reader. Jesus, does the car have to tell everything? Btw, when it throws P2096, it affect/effects the entire paramaters of the engine. An don't say it doesn't look at a data-log it throws the code, retards the timing, and leans the fuel... thus causing some temp increase in the entire engine. coolant and exhaust both go-up.

Calm down friend-o

The rear O2 sensor is only there to monitor how well the catalytic converter is working. All of the Lambda readings come from the wideband sensor in the O2 housing.
