i was impressed ... i think the other guy was too hahaha

i dont beat on or race my ss but i do like to get into the throttle every once in awhile just to get a little grin from the upgraded turbo kit i had installed...

but...

this morning this Dodge Hemi 4x4 quad cab had to make a point to get into lane next to me at light so i figured whats pressing down 10-15 on the boost gauge gonna hurt this morning (roads were wet and it was drizzling)

well light turned green(coarse he had 1/2 car length already cuz stopped way after line) but he slammed it down to floor and....

NOTHING BUT BROKEN TRACTION and spinning tires... hahaha he had no chance... i was once a proud hemi truck owner and thought he would have easily left me for i remember the power... YEA NO my fwd slipped a smidge and instantly pulled hahaha.. needless to say.. we only raced 60ft hahaha... its good to hurt big ego peoples feelings.. haha

maybe tomorrow morning mopar man

I think the Hemi would be in the boat anchor class when it comes to four yellows and a green.

my girlfriend owns a 2008 suzuki hayabusa and u wouldnt believe the camaro and mustang, bmw, audi teenagers/ and middle aged men wanting to line up at a light or even challenge her at a 40mph roll... hahah :palm to forehead, headshaking:

as homer simpson said many times "DOH!" haha

Easy now fellas. That was a Hemi with lots of tonage. Don't be thinkin you can take on the runners (SRT8 anything). Old tech or not, they can make a point.

I think what the original point is that it is an expectation that a V8 will prevail, but when you have a little 4 banger "breadvan" running with them, it says alot, in and of itself...

I had a similar encounter with an Audi A6, rolling from 2nd gear to 4th. Nothing stupid, just getting on it between traffic lights. Broke rubber in 3rd, which was unexpected, but cool. This guy thought he'd show me something. All he did was show me that his Audi couldn't keep up with something he thought was a pushover.
