I knew I could'nt leave it alone

Guess I'm in love with my HHR-SS. I keep looking for ways to trick it out, and came up with, what I'd been thinking about for a couple of weeks.
I'm in the process of making up templates, for a frt. bumper wind splitter, frt bumper canards, and a rear air diffuser under rear bumper.
Checking APR performance, looks like a Honda 2000 read diffuser can be adapted under rear bumper.
Will get to stepping on this project, after holidays.
Drawing up some pics., this should really give it the competiton look.
Will update as progress, gets closer to completion. "Moon"

I'd be interested in seeing some sketches of what you're envisioning.

Here are a couple of ideas that I'm working on. Scanner seems to be inop, or I'll post some better pics.
Rough drawing shows frt air splitter, and canards. Pic of Honda 2000, show rear difusser.
Project after first of the year. Working on templates now.

Nice! From the day I bought my SS I've thought that a CF splitter would look killer. Let me know what you come up with, I'm interested. (IMHO It's only "rice" if something's heavily overdone or put on and is useless ...).

Looks great it will be neat to see the actual application. Your drawings are pretty damn good.

Thanks, actually I drew them up rather quick, and they are not that good, just a quick idea.
Being a custom painter/artist, I am drawing up stuff, even when it's not a paying job.
As my friends tell me "you have too much free time" , but then again I'm semi-retired, so........
Still working on the templates.
My scheme, is to make the HHR-SS look like a road racer, and not a "ricer".
Two different kinds of animal.
I could stir the pot a little, and say "Rednecks can't tell the difference anyway", but won't.
P.S. I'm originally from the South, just trapped in Nor-Cal for the duration.
Got to poke a little fun, once in awhile. "Moon'
