I miss my "Little Red Bread Wagon"!

Took the little guy in this morning for a transmission problem. Sometimes it wouldn't shift into first or second ( turned out to be a bad shifter) they called and it will be ready tomorrow afternoon. I have a Chrysler Sebring for a rental which has made me realize how much I love my little SS! Hurry home little friend.

I know how you feel. My HHR SS (also red) had to go in to get the hood painted. It was damaged courtesy of MDOT bridge reconstruction. Only in the shop for three days and couldn't wait to get it back. The best part is that I can't even tell it had been repaired. Just like new again!

The HHR SS is really fun to drive....

Since most dealerships contract out the "rental" there is no control of what you get . . . . It is up to the mercy ofthe rental company, (Enterprise for my dealership) . . . I usually take advantage, and select a car to "try out" Granted I try to get a GM product, but sometimes will kick the tires on a Ford or Chrysler . . . but try super hard not to get foreign . . .

I rember getting a Mitzu PU for a day, it was BRAND new . . . but what a heap of crap . . . I was super happy to get my D-Max back!

Every time I drive one of my other vehicles, I realize how much I enjoy the SS.

In my area if Enterprise puts a customer in a non GM vehicle we don't pay them for the rental. We have to submit the VIN number of the rent car to GM in order to get paid from GM so if they give us an invoice for a non GM vehicle we just don't pay them. Now I can't speak for other areas of the nation and how their local Chevrolet reps treat them, but it would appear Enterprise is giving out a lot of free rental days.
