knock sensor help please

According to the Hanes manual the 2 liter turbos have 2 knock sensors --Is that correct ? also says tou have to take the alternator off to get to one & the starter needs to come off to get to the other .

Has anyone done this --advice woulld be highly appreciated

Just had a zz performance intake installed & a catless downpipe - was about ready to get dyno tuned when code po327 flashed up , so they said you shouldnt do a performance tune with a bad knock sensor

po327 says knock sensor 1 circuit low --If there are 2 of them ,which one is no. 1

Any help would be great

If I can ever get my tune ,i will post the results for yall

Low voltage usually means a wire is compromised.

I can't find anything that says which is #1, but they usually start at the front of the engine (passENGER side). The electrical connector on the dipstick leads to the front KS. The rear connector is on the intake manifold brace.

Could just be a loose connection, if you just had the intake changed .

Wasn't #1 towards the front of the engine ?
That would be the right side of the car looking from sitting behind the steering wheel.

OK, since nobody can infer I edited post #2. It now reads (passENGER).

Sorry, I was trying to save some letters for future use.
