Lil slot inboard of passenger seat track
Not sure if this is common to all HHRs or just SS's , but i was cleaning up the inside of mine today(just a lil pickin up of a few day's drivin) And i had picked up /used the lil change holder deal i keep in the rear of the 2 cupholders in the console(not the rear-rear one)it's about the size of the smoker's ashtray cup thing, and it's got the spring loaded holder for the top half and the bottom half holds loose coins. So what i did short story was have the two halves come apart and dump some coins in the car(seat/console/pass. side carpet etc) SO,,,, as i was picking up the loose change in the car, i saw a bunch of coins laying right near the inside track of the pass. seat, between the track and the console, and as i picked the up a few got away from my fingers, and fell into what looks like a slot next to the seat track (and made a heckuvu sound , like putting coins in a metal coin bank! ) Not sure what is under this slot, or if i will be doomed with having loose coinage bouncing and sliding around as long as i have the SS
Have not driven the SS since this has happened , but will soon when i go to work.
Bottom line: Does anyone know what the heck this slot is ??? And anyone think it's possible for me to remove what coins fell into who knows where?
Sorry for the long story, hopefully there will be a happy ending to it.

If you can't get them out, I would pour some non toxic, no scent glue down there it make them stick permanently and not rattle. That rattle would drive anyone nuts. On the upside just add your change to your resale value when you sell.

Those are heater vent for the rear, I would turn the the fan up full blast and close all the front vents and as it blows use a shop vac at the same time to suck them out. If that doesn't you can "Turn the car upside down and shake it".
