Looking to trade in my SS

anyone have any experience on what the trade in of a 08 hhr ss with 33,000 miles and a stage kit would be? Trying to determine if it's even possible to get away from this car at this point. Luckily I only owe about 10,000 left on it, but they lose they don't hold their value so I still might be upside down.

Well, dealerships are selling them for around $15,000-$17,000 so if you are looking to trade in expect less than that. I would say around $13,000-$14,000.

Tired of service. Just seems like there is always issues with this car. Thats the biggest reason I don't want to sell it out right.

I was offered 11k with 34K on an 08 5spd with moonroof and black/grey interior

i wouldn't take less than 13500. its still under factory warranty, so that usually gets them out of the used car warranty period 3 mos/ 3,000 miles (in my state anyways). so they are only into it for the detailing and it still gives them at least 1500 profit. If your lucky you may get a few hundred because the stage kit is already done.

Good luck......I tried to trade my 2009 HHR/SS with stage 1 in execllent condition into my dealer.Too many service issues left a bad taste in my mouth. It has 25,000 miles on it. Dealer trade in is $12,500! Selling on the street would be around $15-16,000....If I were lucky. On your 2008, you obviously come in a lot cheaper. These cars are fun but have no resale value. You will either have to take a loss or keep it. I owe more than my car is even worth right now.......what a shame.

At first I was only offered $8000 for my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC... at first. It's robbery, but what else could you do?

You can talk them up.
She has 44,000 miles and a baaaad service record working against her. You might in in the black only owing 10K. Which is good.

if you can get an auction list see if you can find one in there. I traded in a saturn years ago and got $1500 more than they offered because I knew what they were going for at auction
