This may sound dumb but........

My 09 SS has 77,000 miles on it. I commute 100 miles a day. I moved after I bought this SS so my commute cant be helped right now. Anyway, I had the Stage 1 installed 3 months after I bought it and it boosted to 21-24 lbs. Now days I am luck to even hit 19. The car just feels "slower" these days. If I hammer it, it just does not always have the oomhp it used to. I work at a Chevy dealer and its always serviced here. Techs always say no problem found. I have brought it in for numerous tranny complaints. Its auto and sometimes slips from 1st to 2nd in comp mode. Overall the trans feels weak and mushy. Anyone else with high miles on here? Does your boost high still and feel fast? Tranny issues?

Not sure if this is your issue, but boost numbers will be lower in the colder months.

I just put a forge vale in and it works way better now. The dealer replaced mine at 25k and now I have 60k. Besides the obvious, check the bottom sensor for rubbing wires, that is what I would try. Good luck

it could be the bypass valve, a boost leak, a vacuum leak, stg1 wiring or sensor issue....lots of things. no codes i assume?

I put a forge valve in for these symptoms. I have near 70K right now. Dealer replaced my stock bypass valve three or more times in those 70K (even whole turbo due to low stock of bypass valves in the beginning). After a few weeks, the issues would come back, unreliability if boost was there or not.

After that, check for vac leak. I boost well past 21-25 psi just fine at my mileage.

No codes and I had the rubbing wire issue a long time ago. Dealer soldered my wires and all is well with that as I had MANY issues with loss of boost. But right now, it just does not feel "fast" anymore. It bogs down when I hit it and it shifts down to 2nd from 3rd and then picks up. I wish I could drive someone elses SS and feel theirs. The acceleration just does not feel as smooth as it once did......Does this even make sense to you guys?

Yet another reason for me not to get the GM Stage 1 .....................
I swear the majority, yes, the MAJORITY of folks on here have issues after getting the Stage 1 kit.

Like a rock, im strong as stock can be. Like a rock...............

Get the forge valve. You'll be glad you did. I just put one in and it's running better than when I first had the stage kit installed.

gmdealerguy-

Just to rule this out, I'd do a compression test & probably also a leak-down test..
