Talking My dealership got a new HHR SS delivered today. :o)

While I was picking up my stage 1 kit, I noticed my dealership got a new HHR SS delivered today, along with a full load of other cars. It's a 2009 Victory red 4 dr, 5 sp LSD, Brembo's, sunroof, roof rack, Pioneer and black/red interior and two performance seats, but no RPD though... The Victory Red is looking good. The paint seems to OK. No difference in the front door color.

I hope this one's gonna be sold to a local buyer. We'll be two then.

Maybe there's a positive pattern? More future fellow HHR SS' on the road? There must be a rising demand.

A local dealer near me now has 2 brand new HHR SS' in stock.

One's Black with Ebony trim interior and the other is Victory Red with Gray trim interior.

They sticker at $27,172 USD and $27,320 USD respectively.

My local dealer has two very nice used 2008 for $18,500.00. As much fun as a new car is, you can sure save a lot by buying a low mileage used one.

Sticker price for this Victory Red SS is $32700.00, which is about the same as my 2008 SS was. I was wondering if GM lowered the HHR SS price for 2009? I thought GM had raised the pricing on the 2009 models. Maybe it's because of the bankruptcy.

Just click on 'User CP' on top of the page, your control panel, then ''Edit signature'. You'll add your info's there. I think you can only do this if you are a 'premium member' though. I'm not sure. You may want to ask a moderator about this, to be sure.

And please post pics of your ride. We like pics!

I did find edit sig. right when I was done Thanks. I am gonna try to update soon. I just want to Chant WOW over the kit for now. I wanted to see also if there are TSB's posted too. I didn't know where and if I have the vacuum pump for the brakes, so I metioned the ticking at start-up and they found updated cover for over hi-pres fuel pump to quiet it down some. Had to order and should go on this week. Same dealer installed Kit for $80. Sofar so good tonight. Does everyones fan run after Key off after a good beating. But Again Wow @24psi ALL the way though 3rd gear. What a Pull!!

The ticking you may hear on startup, is due to the direct injection, when the engine is cold. When the engine is warm, you don't hear it at all (at least not on mine).

I can't wait to have the kit installed on mine.... two more weeks to wait.

Wasn't your SS sitting on the lot a long time?
seems pretty dumb for them to order a car that will sit on the lot for more than a month or two.
