Just test drove the SS today, 90% sure I'm going to trade my '06 Scion tC in on it. I wanted to get something I wouldn't have to do much to, and the SS fits it. I'll chime in with a picture or two once I get it and get it tinted...

Your name seems very familiar from the LS1.com days (dating myself) You don't have a Berger SS do you?

I used to be Qwik SS years back
Very good memory. Yes I do have a 2002 Berger SS.

You are correct about the 5 speed being difficult to find. Found a handfull with some odd options . . . or maybe I'm the one who wants the odd options . . .

let me guess orange with red seat accents

Nice to hear you still have her. It was a good time following along with that build. I still think the z06 blue was a great choice

Keep searching for the SS. Pretty cool little ride that is good on gas.

yep..

I liked the fact that it was open every saturday. I have raced both Fontana and Irwindale in the past year but with there scheduling I find it difficult to get out there. Not to mention fontana sucks and when I was there a couple months back for a private track day the headwind was about 40 mph and the weather wasn't all that special.

Irwindale is a great track but the whole thursday night thing is tough.
