No seat heaters, right?

Just wanted to ask a quick question. Heated seats in the SS are not available right?

Hey Mike,
If there will be one thing that I will miss soooooooooo much, if and when I get my SS, it will be the heated seats, maybe the nice SS cloth instead of the cold leather (and the turbo of course) will somewhat make up for it most of the year, but not so sure about January.

Hey Ray, the seats in the SS are something that are holding me back the most from potential purchasing one. I hate the look of the seats with the three different materials. To me it looks awful. I don't mind the black/grey combination but the seats with the red or yellow leather/plastic (??) look awful, in my opinion.

I'd like to see an all leather seat or a leather/suede seat.

Heated seats are a pretty big must have to me as well and it's pretty much a dealer breaker.

It might be worth considering whether ordering the Remote Start and just warming it up before you get in will do the job.

I've gotten pretty use to feeling the nice radiant heat flowing through my bum! There's something about the heated seats that regular heat just can't accomplish. I've gotten use to having the heated seats in my current HHR, past Impala and cruising around in my friends Jetta.

Im looking at some aftermarket installs to keep my back warm. Inserts are about 160-250.

Seat Heaters are nice but as cold as it gets.... I think the I could give them up (never had a car with them though, although I have used them) for what is under the hood.

A friend of mine recently purchased a Pontiac G6 with heated seats and convertable top. First heated seat I have ever sat on. WOW! That is nice! And with the top down at 15 degrees, it keeps "those" places nice and toasty. Something I wish I had in my HHR, but I don't care for leather (except a$$less chaps)

My last three cars all had butt warmers, and I don't think I'd be willing to give them up. I can tell you, that between the butt warmers and the remote start, my -14 degree days in MN last month would have be quite unpleasant. My wife was wondering why we needed butt warmers, when we bought the car on a hot July day, but two days in MN convinced her that they were a necessity, not a luxury.
