Part Open Throttle-off the line-observations
just turning 360 miles on the SS, have not done any WOT's yet, but have hit passing gear and part open throttle from a dead stop quite a few times. Having had only a few front drive vehicles, the Vibe, & the G5, I have not really experienced torque steer per say. I have to tell you that even at part open throttle operation with the SS, you can feel the power that is there. The steering wheel just wants to jump out of your hands. Even though they say the Auto is detuned, it sure doesn't feel like it. And I realize that without the LSD in the Auto, you will experience torque steer, at a greater degree, but as another member indicated, it is a challenge, and a fun one at that.
Will reach the 500 mile mark towards the middle of the week, and there is a non-traveled back road near work that I will be able to do some WOT's. Will let you know how it goes after the testing is complete.

Welcome, fellow auto tranny owner! Check out my experiments so far with the auto shifter under the SS auto tranny lovers thread. Sounds like you'll soon learn like me that the auto's not as dull as the 'stick-lovers' want you to believe. Oh, and just remember to smile every time you walk your key FOB to the window to warm your car up or cool it down.
