Placing a order 09 Hrr SS

I am placing a order for a new HHR SS Dec. 15 with every options listed including AA5 package, i plan on upgrading turbo ,exhaust, intake, reprograming and dyno testing for horsepower after 3000 mile and hopefully gaining mileage when not heavy footed, i heard of a factory turbo upgrade for HHR, after several calls to the factory the dealer could not find anything.
after upgrades must i run 93 octane, will computer auto adjust timing, boost and air ratio after programing it for horsepower when using 87/89 octane is the range to far.
Automatic (wife wants auto) I heard automatic will not hold up to added torque and horsepower is there a kit to install to help, my 36,000 miles warranty made be voided if trans fails.
5sp stick is there a difference in final gear ratio.
optional boost/vacuum and info center for the center dash and rear camera setup has anyone seen these options are these dealer install and not factory item?

The SS off the lot calls for 93 octane already.

My only suggestion is to make sure you drive a manual and an auto so that you can compare the two. Good luck.

Come again, they don't even sell 93 here in CA, so how could they sell a car that they don't even have fuel for? It was my understanding that it just calls for Premium.

I believe it is 'premium recommended' but you are only 'required' to put in premium after the stage kit.

I ran 87, 89 and 91 Oct in mine and I only noticed a tad difference. I think people act like 93 OCT will give them godly HP.
