Buy it over the phone and have it shipped to your door. I purchased my last two new cars before I ever saw them. I had test driven others though.

I'm not buying a new one so I dont think I would want to do that on used car without checking it out first.

I am going to go check out the 09 Black SS Auto tomorrow in Byron its about a 30 min ride south of here. I love the features and options on it and i dont really mind if its auto or 5spd and there is the silver 09 about a 2 hour drive north with really low miles and 2 tone interior but no other options other than its a 5spd.. Depending on what happens in byron I will take a trip to athens and see the silver one

Ok some new information on the two im looking at thanks to ChevyMGR,

The silver one does have premium stereo but no USB but from the VIN info it shows it having the Performance Package Limited Slip Differential Front Brakes /w 4 piston calipers and performance rotors LNF?

Says G85 and J56.. Can someone tell me what that is exactly?

So the silver one has those options plus two tone interior over the black one and the black one has the RPD and USB over the siver.. Im so torn over which one to really shoot for

I paid $16,891 for my preowned 8 months ago from a dealership. It had 6771 miles on it.

There's a Blue Flash Metallic one at a Chevy dealer in Rochester with 7615 miles on it for $17,995.

$20k is too much for a preowned.

The biggest difference would be auto vs manual trans. If you have driven manual in the past and enjoyed it, then go with the silver one. If you just want a easy cruise, go with the auto. You can probably live with any of the other stuff.

Update.. I went and drove both the auto and manual and I must say I enjoyed the auto alot better than I did the 5spd.. But neither dealer would budge on the price and they offered a very crappy trade for my malibu.. No SS for me.. Ill just keep saving up my money and maybe try to sell the malibu privately
