The aero froce is all I need. I don't need any Playstation graphics all I need are numbers.

The storage is of more use to me than some cartoons.

I too would have thought someone would have made a replacment center console.

I just need room to store MP3 players, sunglasses and CD's. I dont need any cup holders as when I get into a car all I do is drive. No drinking eating texting etc.

I find the Display itself, attractive and easy to read (especially for these old worn out eyes) but agree with EVERYONE here that the location looks like an after thought (if a thought at all) and the resulting loss of storage a real negative.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I have one and I actually like it. To be honest I didn't know this was an option when I bought the car...my SS was the only one I test drove, and I mistakenly assumed they came with all SSes. The lack of storage isn't that big of a deal to me...it'd be nice to have, but I was never one to store a lot of stuff in my car anyway (I hate clutter), and I still have storage in the doors and the glovebox if need be. I like being able to monitor what I feel like at any given time...HP, boost...and I like knowing EXACTLY how fast I'm going. The liner could be better though, in terms of quality...that I agree with...mine's not that flimsy, but it's far from top quality.

No dought that it is nice and a useful item.

Just most of us like the storage and can get the same and more info from our Aeroforce scan meters. Kind of the best of both worlds.

We just don't get the nice graphics.

I love the guauge and theMPH heads up is what me and my wife love most on a ling drive and keeping us out of tickets with a fast car. I use the boost gauge at times, but the MPH is nice. On that same screen with MPH is 6-force, air inlet, etc. In small numbers. THE MPH is in large easy to read numbers.

Anyone seen the RPD modded? Either to a bigger screen, or with backup camera functionality or whatever....

I am curious to know if anything was done with it by anyone.

I agree with some other posters. That looks very poor. They couldn't even bother to have a new dash, just rip the lid off the glove box and cut a hole. GM is really perpetuating their poor fit/finish stereotype with this....

Well thanks for checking ChevyMgr. I thought that compartment would make a cool mod.
