Buying original GM emblems already painted the factory colors? I'm thinking about doing this and selling them. I do a lot of selling on Ebay and was thinking of adding something like this to my list. Just wondering if there is a market for these? I have had a few PM's from a member on here asking if I could have this done for them. What do you guys think?

I'd take an all back set. No chrome edge but all black.

This is mod #1 in my books. I did mine myself, but Im sure many others would be interested.
For me it cost about $30 just to get the paint mixed and put in a spray can. Cant get it from GM dealers up here in Canada.

If you're talking about the bowties as well, then I'd definitely be interested in getting a set. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of your work yet would you?

Later
Allex

EDIT: Oops, I just re-read the title... yup I'd be interested in factory color-matched bowties.

I have to figure out my cost to seliing them and see if it's worth it for you guys. I work at a Chevy store in parts so I would have to buy them, paint them in our body shop and come up with a selling price. The emblems (front and rear) will cost me $42.00 + using their paint.....so I need to come up with a fair price to sell them at. So keep in mind, you would be getting factory new emblems painted already. I am planning on offering all the factory colors if possible. Here are some pics I took today with my phone. The car is dirty and it is snowing out.

I'd be interested.

Wondering if returning the "stock" emblems to you would lower your costs (like a core charge). In other words, the first set would cost you $42, but then you would just get a returned set every time you recieved an order. That way, costs to your "customers" could be kept fairly low and based mainly on your labor and paint.
