Maybe GM is just waiting to get all the bids in for the * yet to be announced fall special * YELLOW paint before announcing the release date?

"Orders for the HHR SS will be accepted late October 2007. The first DOSP is scheduled for mid November.

The HHR SS is scheduled to begin production December 2007 and will begin arriving in Dealerships in late January 2008."

 

Delivery of the HHR SS to dealers will be around May-June 2008.

 

So you're saying that orders are going to take 6-8 months to be filled.

I'm sorry, but I find that very hard to believe. Where are you getting this information.

I can see 6-8 weeks, but not much more. But even if they don't start taking orders until Dec, 19th wich is a lte in the fall as you can get, you would still be saying there will be a 5-6 month build time>

The gentleman who orders all the new cars for the dealership I work for. If you pre-order obviously you would get them sooner, the ones we are getting are set to arrive late spring. Could just be my dealership though, we deal a LOT with commercial vehicles, so Trucks, SUVs, and Commercial Vehicles get first priority.
