Brief rundown- Purchased HHR SS last week, thrilled and amazed with it's 235 HP and all it's other outstanding features. Had Stage 1 kit (GM turbo upgrade kit) installed yesterday and now I think I have a problem with my right foot because I can't keep it from randomly droping to the floor while driving. I also am concerned over this uncontrolable grin that keeps appearing on my face while driving. Should I be concerned, have others had this problem, please advise.

FYI, I have seen several ask what boost they are getting with the stage 1 kit. I was getting around 12 when stock, now I am getting around 15 all the way up to 25, all kiding aside, this car is scary fast now. At 45 mph, I punched it and the tires broke and spun for a moment, I can literally feel myself pulled back into the seat and feel like I am ready for takeoff. To those that said get the kit, Thank You!, to those still thinking about it DO IT!

 

I got the Trifecta tune for mine and can not wait to load it. My car has been stuck at the dealer since the tune came in. Enjoy that right foot condition as long as you can!

Took my SS in for standard service today. When I talk to my wife later, I will tell her that the car pulled a Code 32D61 which means "this vehicle must be driven my a male owner at least 90% of the time." Maybe then I'll get more time with it. Fun!!!

 

Better be careful or you may be sleeping in your car. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I complained that my wife wasn't a good house keeper and that she should lose some weight, she proved me wrong, she kept the house and lost 200lbs, me. Good luck!

The best way to drive an SS is act like you have driven a quick car before.

The SS is fun to drive but use it smart.

Besides one of two things will happen in time. Some one will smoke your butt because while the SS while it is guick there are still much bigger game out there and you will get humbled.

The other is someonw will stop you and give you a lecture on the evils of velocity and with those lectures are not getting any cheapers as cities and states are looking for more money.

With power comes responsibilty.
