Roof Rack and 2 Bike Carriers

Even though it was a tight squeeze it all worked very well!

We were packed to the rafters! Daughter in her car seat and dog in the back. At one point my daughter commented how everyone was packed in so tight except for me! I told her that's the privilege of being a dad and a driver!

I'm thinking of getting a bike rack for the HHR. Where did you camp?

We went camping in the Adirondacks - I hate to share this beautiful spot but hey, what the heck... Fish Pond Creek. Lovely lake with each site having private access to a little beach.

Wow - not exactly close to NYC. Had to be a good 4 hour trip in your HHR. Which is a good thing.

The 6-hour pluse drive went by fast and easy. I have owned quite a few cars but this is truly an exceptionally fun vehicle to drive. And my wife, daughter and dog had no problems either!

Only today did I finally spot my first fellow HHR SS. Also red, with the piping. Good looking vehicle!

Cool, is the Thule mounted to the factory roof rack rails? G.B.

I have the factory roof rails (actually I bought the car without them but I wanted them so they installed them 2 weeks later at no charge to me!). The cross bars came from my previous vehicle, a Jeep Liberty. They are also made by Thule. They fit very well on the factory rails.
