Shifter quirk, 5-speed SS
On my 2008 SS 5-speed, I have to lift the reverse lockout to shift into 5th gear, then sometimes still have to hunt to get it into gear. It was this way when new, I've had it several months and will be taking it back to the dealer soon.
My question is, "Is it normal to have to lift the reverse lockout to shift into the 5th gear" ?

its an adjustment the dealer knows of it... My advice you want it fixed right? get the TWM PERFORMANCE SHORT THROW SHIFTER WITH THE ALUMINUM SHIFTER BASE BUSHINGS. what you got now is all plastic.
