SS Auto?

Nope, because if you read you manual it says not to tow with the SS. Unless you want to void you warenty, then by all means go for it.
Actually the tranny is the only part of my car I have yet to have any problems with the honestly.

My daughter has been borrowing my SS from time to time over the last couple months. Last week we bought her a PT Cruiser beater car. Her response: "Dad, I think there is something wrong with this car's engine - it is so slow and everyone around me is looking at me and wondering why I'm so slow". So relative to other cars, the HHR SS auto is still VERY fast. LOL.

Ok thats funny but my old 86 Lebaron vert turbo pushing 18psi was a fast sleeper. I bet if you raced me in an SS you'd be like WTF. I know because my stock SS and it would have been a fun race. :) I sure do miss the looks I'd get as I'd pull away from a V8 in a K car with wire hub caps. LOL

I owned a K car once. What a POS that was! It wasn't boosted, so it was a dog. And when I accelerated, the air conditioning shut down because it didn't have enough power to do both. So if you were going up a long hill, it got real hot in that car during the summer!
