FWD is horrid for launches in the HHR. The front unloads so much and if you are on stock rubber the Pilots are hard as rocks.

 

hi 2005hhrauto, I have the 2010 hhr ss auto with a couple more mods than you do.
I love your thread it gives me some comfort to know you havent had any real issues with your 09 auto. Seems to me that the rumor that the auto was detuned cause it couldn;t take the same abuse that the stick could seems very suspect to me! Case in point if that was true the stage 1 and the GMTU which ads like 50 extra hp they would have said something like only offered to the 5 speeds, the auto is dicluded from these tunes. They didn't and if that was the truth they wouldn't have included it with keeping full waranty.
One other thing i wanted to ask you when watching you go down the strip, it looks like both your front wheels were spinning? am i right?
