SS Auto guys...

I would like your driving impressions of the Auto mated with the LNF. I'm considering an auto LNF and would like some opinions before i drive one tomorrow.

I went from a '06 2LT with MTX. Now with auto and the turb there is so much more powet than I had before I am having a great time. I do not miss having to shift. The handling is great reminds me my Corvette.

Loving it. Went from a whoop de do Kia Sephia to this and look forward to going to work now for a 110 mile roundtrip 5x a week. Getting great power, stability, economy. Win win deal compared to some of the alternatives. The complaints I have about it are minor and the ride keeps me from focusing on any of them for any length of time. Feeling pretty good now owning the auto over the manual. Can do what I need to in the cabin while burning down the road and not have to concern myself shifting - although missed, Im ok with not having this suv-car-truck-wagon-crossover-econocar thingy as a manual.

The most troubling experience Im having is keeping my foot off the gas so I dont listen to the turbo....just doesnt feel like your really cruising that fast at all and then you find yourself at about 90. My other car, the panels would be rattling, the steering shimming, the car bouncing along, and the wind roaring across the body...this hhr ss is just a plain fun ride.

Kinda wish I got silver or orange, I really need to wash this black betty.

I have to agree with itsalu I find the car to be lot's of fun to drive and it's hard to stay off the tall skiny pedal. Comparing my other turbo car things have come a long way since 1979(4 cyl turbo in a mustang)

You ought to test drive a stick too, its very easy to shift and clutch, and is sure nice when getting 34mpg at 65 mph. (and being quick too) Never know, ya might like it.
