I just ordered decal overlays for my HHR SS from Flamingdecals.com.

I'm going to overlay the front bowtie and wheel bowties with black background/white SS logos and the rear bowtie with a plain black overlay.

09_SS or anyone else;
what is the "wet method" of applying these decals? I assumed that they were peel and stick. I want a precise application, so any clarification on this would be appreciated.

I custom cut mine from a sheet of vinyl.

Thanks 87Silver! I ordered a set of bowtie overlays from flamingdecals.com which are on their way in.

The wet method is how window tint is applied. Mix a little soap and water then spray on the window, or emblem in this case. Then apply the decal, tint, or overlay. The water let's you position it without having to worry about getting it perfect. Once you're happy with the positioning, squeege the water out, working from the center to the edges, making sure to not disturb the position of your overlay. A little soap goes a long way, so don't over do it. It should take a couple days to fully dry.
