I know all you SS owners are chuckling... but how do you know when the car has a stage 1 installation? or anything above a factory plain 2.0 engine. Is the give away the do hicky on the dash where the storage compartment would be? Laugh away.... I have a 2.4 that has a weapon R intake (and has never threw a code ever) that I beat quite regularly and with regular gas and never did care about the gas mileage so I am not cheap per say...(to the person who through that i might be - my primary passion is collection vintage gas station items... thank you). Thanks. John

There are a couple ways to tell. The gas lid will say Premium Required vs the factory sticker Recomended. Under the hood the EPA sticker is updated to reflect the up grade. Also the Map sensors come off at a 90 degree angle vs straight up. The plugs will have new connectors and should be taped abut 7 inches up the wire.
Oh and the Boost gauge will top 20+ PSI with no issues.
The do hicky on the dash that is the performance dash. It was just an option in 09 and became standard on all SS later. It has nothing to do with the Turbo upgrade.
