SS Springs/Struts over Regular Ones

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the regular HHR Struts over the SS ones???I know there is a difference on the Springs but not sure about he Struts.Thinking about putting SS Springs on my truck but do I need the struts or can I use my current 2LT Struts??

I have mixed them up it works fine. There are 3 different struts and they stiffer damping from fe1=soft to fe3 sport to fe5 stiff. I have found that KYB makes a set that I would call fe4.

I did the SS spring with the 2LT strut,or fe-3, worked good. Here it is with 5 bags of concrete on board a midship.

Yes, and as you can see they hold up a load great....I found them a little stiff, even with the fe3 struts and shocks....but of 4 of 5 setups, they were my second favorite.

I switched to YYZv1 and KYB struts and shocks, feels great.not much difference in stance.

Does anyone know what the Stamping/Numbering that are on the Front SS Springs.Found a set of these Springs and the guy says the #ing/Part # is the same for both of them.Did they have the same #ing on both of the springs?? Shouldn't the Springs be different or are they both the same??Does anyone know that??

IIRC.....

The spring part numbers are the same for the front.....the front strut numbers are different, a right and a left (at least for OEM).

You can probably check the part numbers in the Sticky for elusive parts.
