With all that information to look at, don't forget to save a little bit of eyeball for the road.

Once you hit the button to kill the sound from the radar/laser warning, the light keeps blinking as long as the signal is present.

In all seriousness, I just glance at the numbers on the Aerotech occasionally, and much prefer a shift light in peripheral vision to watching a tach near redline. I also never actually read the radar display since it has detailed voice description from the underdash speaker.

Which parameters do you usually monitor with th Aeroforce?
Too, who defines too?
I bought a mount from EMPI (remember the VW folks that have been around about 50 years or more?). It is mounted with velcro for now with the stock wire and plug. As far as the Aeroforce, it is pretty useful, nice to record parameters and play them back later. I have the warning light for more than 3 degrees of knock retard so I will know if I get crappy gas. I reset the readout occasionally for different parameters, like to know IC out temp, and ignition advance for example. Check occasionally for misfires or codes (only had one for "overboost" once, and never figured out why except it was a cold wet morning).

I chose a quick install on velcro, far enough away to not interfere with airbag deployment, so far I haven't come up with another easy to read location, but I am open to suggestions. I may mount it in front of the tach since I never really use the tach anyway.

Don't even know how to text (actually I do just never have). Only time I even carry a cell phone is when riding a motorcycle alone or skiing. Haven't had a msg on my pager in 3 months since folks figured out I don't answer my pages. Not a luditte, just have self-imposed limits.

This is true. I find myself distracted way too many times, between the XM radio, cell phone, blackberry messages, boost guage, DIC, GPS, etc.
They are great on long trips to keep from getting bored, but I need to keep my eyes on the road!

I like the shift lite, first and second gear are over so quick and its hard to watch the road and tac at same time that I hit the rev chip often. to get the most out of it you need to get every rpm you can because it bogs after you shift. does anyone know any tricks to get the turbo to spool up -quicker. this engine feels like it wants to go to 8k.

OK, obviously I am a lightweight compared to this guy. I think he and his navigator made it from NY to LA in some crazy time like 33 hrs*. Saw his car when I was at the MotoGP race weekend (4 days of serious fun) at Laguna Seca.

*correction: "31 hours, 4 minutes, driving 2,800 miles at an average speed of 90.1 miles per hour."
