Hi everyone!

I just took delivery of my new SS today to replace my 04 Impala SS(also sold my 00 Z-71 Tahoe) and it is better than I ever expected.
I did have a few issues with the vehicle from the get go specifically, it did not have some of the options I ordered and had some that I did not. Whatever, I am just glad it arrived.

Ordered XM- No XM
Ordered 7 speaker premium sound-Not on car
Ordered smoke double stripes- No stripes

Did not order performance seat-has performance seat
did not order smokers package- has smokers package

the price went down several hundred dollars because of this, so I guess I could stripe it and add one kick butt set of speakers for the savings.

I also got the paint protection, fabric protection, sound proofing, and rust protection for next to nothing, as well as the extended b2b warranty.

My Mom is a contractor for GM so I got employee pricing and the timing was right for the 0% for 72 which btw has been extended til the 7th.

I have only put on like 15 miles so far, so I will have to put a few hundred miles on her before I can decide if I like it or love it.

My son named her Noodle-5 and we laughed so hard we decided to keep the name.

Once the weather clears up I will post some pics.

Noodle-5? That is hilarious! What brought that on? 5spd?

So, what color is she? That is strange about all the mix-up in ordered options...

My son is only five, but is quite bright for his age. He carries around a toy lap-top computer with him sometimes. When we told him we were getting a new car he told me, I will look up the web site. While tapping on the keys with a very serious look on his face he told me it has 3084 and is called a Noodle-5. The combination of the serious look and all just struck us as really funny. I guess it does fit with the fact that it is a 5-speed.


Noodle-5 is Black with Ebony interior.

And yes I will concur that it is very strange that there was so many mix ups with the car. I was promised a full explaination from the dealer if they are able to get one from GM.
