Took a little trip.. My thoughts
So drove up to Lake George, NY on Sunday.
I ended up having to stay on cruise control because I was cruising at 80, without even realizing it.
I filled up on 93 ( it was 3.66 a gallon)
drove 280 miles round trip
average speed DIC 68mph
average MPG 32.5 mpg
I am impressed

65mph=32.5mpg
70mph=29.5mpg
75mph=25mpg
80..well i never drive that fast long enough to know.
This is what I believe youll see if you use cruise. I dont use cruise so my number will be 2-3mpg higher across the range.
Drag is everything. Speed=fuel consumption.

You guys are simply having more fun in your SS than me. I have a 37 mph average over the last 400 miles and can't seem to keep it above 35mpg.
"Getting-on-the-gas" should be defined by your vacuum gauge going above zero. On the highway i don't let it pass above negative ten (-10) if I can help it. I 1-3-5 shift. Or 2-4/5 shift on a downhill.

??? Not that driving the SS like you stole it is a bad thing, but DO YOU? Reset everything and check you highway cruise MPG's vs the ones I posted above. If that is what you see, the culprit is your foot.
