Because its much better looking with a factory part. Now I wonder if camaro wheels would fit

One word NO!

Camaro wheels are the wrong offset, wrong size and wrong bolt pattern to fit a HHR.

They do have a positive offset but not enough to fit properly.

I had a 2010 SS Camaro in my garage this week and can say the wheels and tires are very large. I had my HHR wheels sitting near by and they looked very small compared to them.

But I do agree they are a very nice looking wheel.

Gee, I hate to be a party crasher here, but the 2010 Camaro LS wheels will work with the change of the PCD. The 18" aluminum wheel has the correct offset and width.

I found the numbers. They are closer than I thought. But are still not a direct bolt on.

Camaro LS/LT

Bolt Pattern: 5x120
Offset Range: 24 to 35
Wheel Size Range: 18x8.0 to 24x9.5
OE Tire 245/55-18 (245X727 mm)
OE Tire 245/50-19 (245x728 mm)

Camaro SS

Bolt Pattern: 5x120
Offset Range: 35 to 45
Wheel Size Range: 20x8.0 to 22x9.5
OEM Tire Size (Front): 245/45-20 (245x729 mm)
OEM Tire Size (Rear): 275/40-20 (275x728 mm)

HHR SS

Bolt Pattern: 5x110
Offset Range: 35 to 42
Wheel Size Range: 17x7.0 to 20x8.0
OEM Tire Size: 225/45-18 (225x660 mm)

Thanks for the research. That's what I said, the PCD would have to be changed. That is an easy fix. I would recommend the HHR sizing on the tires rather than the camaro sizing as they would be too tall.

Might also note the Transformer wheels are RS/SS wheels and not the 18 inch wheels. They are a little different.

That's true. But I think his first concern was that of center caps fitting on HHR wheels. When that seemed no go it appeared having Camaro rims working so that the transformer cap could fit. Yeah, there's no way the 20's or 21's could work as you said because of widths and offsets. But the 18's, now that's a different story. I could probably machine the correct opening on the HHR wheel to allow the transformer cap to snap in. As easy as that sounds, it's easier and less work to change the bolt pattern in the camaro wheels.
