Trying to find an HHR SS - Near impossible

I am in the market for an HHR SS but I have found it is nearly impossible to find the one I am looking for. I would love to test drive it and there isn't any 5 speeds around me (Northern, VA)

I am looking for one w/ the following and only the following options:
Any color but would prefer Black/Red w/ ebony/red interior
Manual
Performance Package
Pioneer Stereo (not a must)

Has your local dealer offered to do a search for the vehicle you want? All they do is punch in the options you want and hit locate. It will tell them every dealer that has that vehicle and then they will offer to do a dealer trade with that dealer to get it for you.

Now if you are looking for a used vehicle that's a different story.

There are a lot of 5 speeds here in Ohio in several colors.

Blue at Doug Chevy

Red, Black and Blue at Classic Chevy are some I have seen on the lots.

IF you can drive any color the dealer can trade for one here in Ohio or elewhere.

Would not recommend

the pioneer stereo. I'm liking my car more and more every week, but the pioneer speakers were really bad.

My stereo is fine and loud.

But I have no need to rattle windows either like some.

I have done the search on chevy.com and the closest HHR w/ a manual is about 2.5 hours away. I doubt they will do a dealer trade on an HHR w/ oddball options that most are not looking for.

They will if you are a serious buyer, like willing to put money down. We just picked up a Tahoe 200 miles away for a customer today.

my hhr came from Kentucky, 180 miles, and 2 hours and 50 minutes from here. It was the only one within 250 miles of where I live with the exact options I wanted. My dealer traded for it, no money down or anything. Just signed the papers saying it was mine.
