Tyc headlights

anyone checked out the tyc headlight replacements for the hhr??? they look like they are darker with less chrome. wanted other member opinions on this. more eyes the better. they are on ebay for $79 each. still thinking of going another way,just wanted opinions...

They are not tinted, I contacted 2 different vendors that were selling them and the photo they had looked like they were dark inside the housing. The reply I got from the vendors is they are chrome inside the housing like the factory headlights not smoke or black chrome. Afraid your gonna have to either custom paint some or buy the fall edition headlights.

From what I have read, they are much easier to get apart to modify. The oven method will work.

I had to cut the stockers apart and then weld the seam back together.

I got a bi-xenon P&P kit from ebay for about the same money. Lots more light, and no housing modifications needed. Bottom line is to get more light.
