Before I settled on my final paint scheme (listed in my sig), I considered many different ideas...the standard two-tone look we've seen others pull off (I was considering painting the top half a metallic silver, with a 1/2" black pinstripe to separate the silver and red), and several varieties of black racing stripes...some of ideas I had in mind were pretty damned close to your final product. Obviously I decided to go in a different direction (and I'm thrilled with my final result), but your stripes really came out awesome...as others have noted, they look and fit better than I would've thought...excellent, excellent job!

Any way you can take a pic from, say, up on top of a hill perhaps, looking down? It'd be great to get a far away, full perspective pic.

mightymouse: Steal away. I'm close to finalizing my new scheme. Giovanni wheels #901 style[wire mesh type, w/anodised Red lip] that I'm going to paint Red. Racing stripe[to be painted] will match wheel lip.
Almost went with my color scheme in my sig., but changed my mind[ a bunch of times].
Wheels are on their way. Be here Monday, Tuesday. "Moon"
