Traded a '95 Toyota Camry and a '99 Plymouth Breeze in on the HHR.

Glad to see them gone, no more oil leaks.

I traded in our 98 Z-71 it was a great truck but for work the milage was killing me i was putting in 800-900 dollars a month in it and that was when gas was only $3.60 not $4.60 like it is now. I still mis it when I need to hual lumber or something else oversized (it had a lumber rack and tool box)

Did a double trade-in. Traded in the 00 Tahoe z-71 and a 04 Impala SS. The Tahoe was my daily driver and was absolutely terrible on gas, but great in the winter and for towing the 30' Jayco Eagle BH.(7 mpg while towing) The Impala was my wifes car, and was really a great car. She wanted a Mini van since she does most of the transporting of the kids to school and daycare. We got her a 07 buick Terraza at the GM auction back in March and paid 18k for it. We are done getting new cars for quite a while and really love the HHR.

Strange how people overreact to gas prices. The dems are letting things worsen, knowing the average American will not see this as the dem-controlled Congress' fault and vote against Bush's party in November but no matter which of the two lessers of two evils the dummies of this country pick, gas prices will drop. Many articles recently are discussing how wrong it is to lose thousands of dollars by dumping gasguzzlers to save hundreds of dollars in gas. Some of us see no alternative but losing thousands to save hundreds makes no sense to this old fart.

This is a permanent re-structuring of prices, and as such $4.00/gallon is the new set-point. It may vary up and down maybe $0.30 either way, but $4 is the new median price.

Not Really a Trade, but I sold...

I didn't trade my last vehicle in because the dealer was only gonna give me about $2,000 for it. But I had a 1998 S10 SS that was in very good condition and I felt it was worth a hell of a lot more that what a dealer would give me. Turns out I was right and I sold it for $5,500.
