What gains did you see from upgrading your intercooler?

I'm curious as to what improvements the upgrade did for you?

Just peace-of-mind, because the stocker is weak, & can blow-up,
when over boosting.

A tip on saving the stocker.
Keep traction control turned off.
For some reason, when boosting quickly, then quickly letting off the gas,
can overboost the intercooler/piping, causing failure.

The smaller ZZP unit is probably the best replacement.
This is the information I was looking for. I seen the pics of blown up IC's and I don't want that to happen to me. Thanks for your help

I have a Crazy Steves.(Saab) intercooler, makes cold air and has aluminum piping......
